A window can no longer be dragged into a strip you cannot get back. A tester shrank the ACARS printer window until only its title bar was left, and there was no way to recover it: below a certain height these windows stop drawing their body, and their resize handle is invisible by design. Every torn-off window now has a floor beneath which it cannot go, the size it remembers for restoring is held to the same floor, and the Fitted modules window has a new Reset window sizes key that puts every decoder, panel, instrument and map window back to its default size and place.
Uninstalling offers to remove your settings. It used to leave everything behind. The uninstaller now asks, naming the two folders it would delete: your configuration and the plugins, caches and logs. Answer No to keep them for a future install. Your recordings are never touched.
Setup can start clean. A new, unticked option deletes those same two folders before installing, for reinstalling over a profile that has gone wrong. For scripts: /CLEANINSTALL=1 on setup, /CLEANDATA=1 or /KEEPDATA=1 on the uninstaller. An unattended uninstall keeps your data unless told otherwise, so upgrades never take your plugins with them.
