FoxSDR 0.78.0 for Windows x64.
The radar scope zooms out to a continent. The range ladder stopped at 400 NM and the + key greyed out there. It now runs on to 800 and 1600 NM - not for hearing further, but for placing the traffic in a region, then a continent. The SET RANGE drum has four digits for it.
The ground under the scope is drawn in the scope's own projection. Until now the map tiles and the coastline were laid under the face in the map's projection, matched at the middle and about 9% out at the edge of a 400 NM picture - a coast thirty miles from the aircraft over it, and the reason 400 was the ceiling. Every tile is now cut into cells and each corner is placed by exactly the arithmetic that places an aircraft, so a coast and the contact over it sit on the same pixel at any range, and a dragged view moves by real miles in a real direction.
0,0 is not a receiver. One user's scope was measuring from 0 N 0 E - the Gulf of Guinea - with the view dragged three thousand miles to the coast it belonged on, the position having been applied from fields that still read 0.00000. That pair is refused everywhere now: typed, offered, or read from the config file, where it opens as unset so the one-click position offers come back.
No window has a title bar. The operating system's strip above the main window and above every page is gone. The cabinet's own top rail carries the window's name, engraved, and three brass keys - minimise, maximise, close - and the rail is what you drag the window by; a double-click on it fills the screen, a right-click offers the system menu, and snapping, the window shortcuts and resizing from the edges all still work, because the frame is only hidden. Every page is a cabinet the same way, with its own name and keys on the rail.
