ProxiFyre 2.6.2 reduces repeated process lookups when applications open many short-lived connections. It brings the first set of WireSock process-ownership optimizations to ProxiFyre, with no configuration changes required.
Highlights
- Less repeated work when connections come and go: ProxiFyre reuses complete application information while processing each connection-table update, instead of looking up the same application again for every connection. The benefit depends on your workload.
- Shorter waits during connection-table updates: Active connection lookups no longer wait for old process information to be discarded after an update.
- Broader regression coverage: New automated tests cover application routing, IPv4/IPv6 ownership and concurrent connection lookups.
Upgrading
Install the setup package matching your Windows architecture. Existing application rules and proxy settings remain compatible, and installer upgrades preserve your configuration and logs.

Standalone MSIs, application ZIPs and SHA-256 checksums are also included. Use an MSI or ZIP only if the required runtime and Windows Packet Filter are already installed; the ZIP is not an installer.
