Bugfix: Using variables in the error_log_user_tag directive in the stream module could cause a worker process crash if a message was logged at an early stage of connection processing with logging enabled at the info level or a more verbose level.

Bugfix: When several error_log directives were used and a subsequent directive specified a higher (more verbose) logging level than the previous ones, as well as when there were no error_log directives logging to a file, field names in log records could be output as unknown; the bug had appeared in 1.12.0.

Bugfix: Failed SSL handshakes for HTTP/3 connections were not counted in the SSL statistics collected with the status_zone directive in the HTTP module; the bug had appeared in 1.11.0.

Bugfix: SSL handshakes for HTTP/3 connections that timed out were not counted in the SSL statistics collected with the status_zone directive in the HTTP module.

Bugfix: If the proxied server returned a status specified in the proxy_next_upstream directive (or a similar directive) in response to a POST, LOCK, or PATCH request that had already been sent to it, and the non_idempotent parameter was not specified in that directive, the request would hang until the read timeout fired and finish with code 504 instead of the actual code returned by the proxied server; the bug had appeared in 1.11.0.

Bugfix: If an ACME client requested a certificate for an IP address using ALPN validation, Let's Encrypt rejected the challenge with the error Incorrect validation certificate for tls-alpn-01 challenge ... wrong number of identifiers, and the certificate was not issued.

Bugfix: If the domain list of an ACME client had a wildcard domain, such as *.example.com, then domains at deeper levels, such as test.sub.example.com, were wrongly treated as covered by the wildcard domain and were not included in the certificate.

Bugfix: When the keepalive and zone directives were used together in the upstream block, removing a proxied server (for example, during a DNS update when the resolve option is used) could corrupt data in shared memory; as a result, a cached connection could be mistakenly reused for a different proxied server; the bug had appeared in 1.8.0.

Bugfix: When using an OpenSSL version without native QUIC support, the proxy_ssl_keylog_file directive could prevent establishing an HTTP/3 connection to a proxied server.

Bugfix: If several server blocks in the mail proxy listened on the same port and one of them on a wildcard address (for example, listen 143; or listen *:143;), error messages logged while accepting connections on that port could be mistakenly written to the error_log of the wrong server block.

Bugfix: The build failed when the JSON support was disabled, e.g. with the ./configure --without-http option or when the API, Metric, Docker, and ACME modules were all disabled; the bug had appeared in 1.12.0.

Bugfix: In a minimal configuration, e.g. with the ./configure --without-http option, the build could fail at the link stage with an error like undefined reference to `ceil'; the bug had appeared in 1.11.0.
