In this release

This release brings the new feature #26 Adjusted Block Reward Distribution. Once activated, DAO will receive 10 waves, the miner will receive 8 waves, and XTN buyback address will receive 2 waves from each block. If XTN buyback is ceased with feature #⁠21 activation, both DAO and the miner will receive 10 waves each.

This feature supersedes feature #⁠23 if activated before height 5410000 on Mainnet. Once feature #⁠26 is activated, total block reward is immediately set to 20 waves.

Activation

Please vote for feature #⁠26 on Mainnet! The next voting window will start at height 5380000. If the feature is voted during this voting interval, activation will happen at height 5400000 (2026-09-13 21:40 UTC).

Update notes

There's no need to rebuild the state when updating from 1.6.3.
