This release contains some fixes for crashes that were reported in the previous version.

  • Speculative fixes for hard crashes
  • Fix a hard crash that some users reported when downloading files from popup windows
  • Fix Brainbox skills opening and reopening the side panel in some states
  • Update dependencies

Here's everything else that's new in version 10.134

  • Update to Chromium 134.0.6998.89 for better speed, security, and latest web features.
  • Add a slider to customize the space/group background tint behind the webdock
  • Move some of the Wavebox tools like Brainbox, Smartnotes & Connect out of the extension area and into the main toolbar (just to the side of the extension area). This gives more customization options and makes them easier to access.
  • You can now pin downloads to the toolbar for quick access!
  • Styling fixes for side panels to keep the look and feel consistent with the theme.
  • Saved items can now be opened in a new tab using Ctrl/Cmd+Click
  • Performance fixes when switching between split/non-split tabs
  • Huge startup performance improvement, especially for setups that have lots of tabs (e.g. more than 500)
  • Other Performance improvements that will shave a little bit of memory usage
  • Fix for extensions not always being locked to a single space when set through settings
  • Fix Google sign-in for some extensions that use the Identity APIs (originally reported with Autoclicker)
  • Fix the webdock auto-hiding when context menus are open
  • Improve the quality of the macOS menu bar icon, especially on retina displays
  • Fix for the tray icon flickering and sometimes behaving erratically on Linux
  • Build performance optimizations to keep things snappy.
  • Improvements to creating custom Wavebox apps.
  • Various dark mode fixes, including improvements to the app switcher.
  • Resolved an issue where the tab loading spinner would mysteriously vanish too soon.
  • Improvements to the first-run experience to make onboarding smoother for new users.
  • Developers can now fully customize HTML select elements for a more tailored UI experience.
  • New dialog styling options for sites to make pop-ups look even better.
  • Added support for weblocks, allowing sites to seamlessly update shared storage across tabs.
  • Updated dependencies to keep everything running smoothly.
  • Fix naming issue where importing from Chrome was actually called importing from Wavebox
  • Under the hood improvements in prep for some upcoming features
  • Usability fixes for the pin input when locking Wavebox
