Sub-50 ms hook and MCP hot path, project X-Ray and symbol decision recall,
1-tool deja MCP mode guidance and argument aliases across harnesses, OpenCode
2.x plugin upgrade handling, and asymmetric Nemotron / NVIDIA NIM embeddings.

Added

  • deja orient and PreToolUse surface co-change file pairs, symbol decisions, and verified traps. Pre-flight hooks also surface targeted test priority and command remedies before an agent edits or runs a command (#5882, #5896).
  • PreCompact captures modified files and symbol decisions so compaction keeps the active working set. apply_patch edits are also indexed into file blame and history (#5896).
  • deja embed supports asymmetric NVIDIA NIM and Nemotron models with automatic input_type retry. Passes "passage" when indexing and "query" when searching (#5950).
  • Native Antigravity plugin bundle (antigravity-plugin/) and deja stats --card on first install.
  • Configuration reference for ~/.config/deja and policy.json, plus JetBrains AI and session-deletion guides (#5869, #5943).

Changed

  • Hook and MCP recall bound session record reads to tail windows and skip unused tool-output inflation. Transcript change scans prefilter by mtime, and compressed .jsonl.zst Codex rollouts stream without holding them in memory (#5901, #5907, #5908, #5927, #5928).

Fixed

  • Hook leads and /deja prompts name 1-tool deja modes ("context" and "recall"), and spreadQ accepts subject aliases (session_id, file_path, output, fact). dejaCallNames also recognizes MCP-prefixed deja tool calls.
  • deja install opencode-auto replaces the legacy OpenCode 1.x TUI status plugin with the 2.x server plugin on upgrade, and registers home_bottom before home-tips.
  • deja doctor detects approved Codex hooks from non-primary event pins and live hook execution in .live / .hookseen (#5948).
  • Hook concurrency, detached refreshers, and CLI flag validation handle spawn recall locks, .hookseen serialization, Windows path separators, recap --json --limit, and blank arguments in promote, remember --project, handoff, fix, view --out, and restore -o (#5899, #5904, #5909, #5910, #5911, #5915, #5929, #5930, #5931, #5932, #5933, #5945, #5949).
  • go test ./... runs hermetically in root and minimal containers without sqlite3 or zstd installed (#5947).
