Added

  • General settings now include a Liquid Glass toggle on macOS 26 and later to control translucent glass visual effects across panels and controls.
  • The video and GIF tools now include an option to compress directly to a target file size in megabytes, automatically deriving the resolution and frame rate to stay under the limit. Thanks to @FlowSync0.
  • Shelf now shows real content thumbnails for dropped images and videos, covering more file types, and decodes saved image thumbnails asynchronously on launch. Thanks to @tenbux.
  • The Command Bar now offers a compact mode where the bar opens as a field alone and shows results once you type, with Down arrow revealing the full list. Under Command Bar, off by default. Thanks to @kobebrylant.
  • Command Bar script links can now be marked to run on their bare name without an argument, so scripts that work on the clipboard, selection, or files don't need a placeholder word typed after the name. Under Command Bar, off by default. Thanks to @rhukster.
  • Monitor alerts can now warn you when the battery stays above a temperature you choose. Under Monitor alerts, off by default. Thanks to @ywu73.
  • Radial Menu now supports custom profiles with distinct wheel layouts, color themes, shortcuts, mouse triggers and starter presets, and website links can fetch their actual website icons on demand.

Changed

  • Homebrew package rows can now be selected by clicking the unused space beside the name. Thanks to @pergioa.
  • Clipboard history now displays image previews and thumbnails for image files copied from Finder in the quick panel, preview inspector and menu panel.
  • Clipboard history now remembers whether you left the preview inspector open or closed across launches.
  • New Scratchpad tabs now start at 1 instead of leaving the first tab unnumbered, while existing names stay unchanged. Thanks to @AB-boi and @JashRashne.
  • Every screen capture tool now carries its own keyboard shortcut to open directly into screenshot, recording, text copy or color picking, with the active tool shortcut edited at the top of the Screen capture settings page. Thanks to @RecoilGaming.
  • The Keyboard Shortcuts page now lists every capture shortcut under one Screen capture group, and expandable shortcut groups are toggled by their whole row, with the chevron moved to the trailing edge. Thanks to @RecoilGaming.

Fixed

  • Fan Control now updates manual and curve cooling speeds during an active session without verification timeouts.
  • The Homebrew panel now closes when you click outside it while browsing or searching, and stays open for a confirmation or a running job. Thanks to @pergioa.
  • Settings opened from the menu panel no longer stay covered when the two windows cannot fit side by side. Thanks to @FloatingPegasus.
  • Muting the microphone from Quick toggles no longer moves the menu panel. Thanks to @FloatingPegasus.
  • Fan Control can no longer be installed on a Mac with no controllable fan, including from Install all and first-run setup. Thanks to @PathGao and @Yahddyyp.
  • Quit on close no longer causes elevated background CPU usage in watched applications. Thanks to @iltonandrew.
  • The Displays section no longer freezes when switching off the built-in display while an external monitor is connected. Thanks to @iltonandrew.
  • Subprocess sampling and window enumeration no longer exhaust background dispatch threads or deadlock the main thread. Thanks to @PathGao, @iltonandrew and @SudhanshuBhogal.
  • Quick tool confirmation panels and scrolling capture banners now keep long copied text or parameter lists bounded on screen instead of overflowing the display. Thanks to @rhukster.
  • App Switcher now keeps walking backwards when you hold Shift and tap Tab again. Thanks to @iltonandrew and @justin-chiam.
  • The window-scoped App Switcher (⌘`) no longer collapses into a single tile when one entry per app is enabled. Thanks to @iltonandrew, @AB-boi and @PathGao.
  • The screen capture loupe now rings the pixel under the pointer instead of drawing a crosshair across it, and that pixel sits in the middle of the loupe, so the Color picker shows the color it is about to copy. Thanks to @I-Have-No-Idea-What-Im-Doing-Right-Now and @PathGao.
  • Screenshot editor crop now snaps selection and resize edges to pixel boundaries, keeping the loupe cross and the final cut aligned to the exact source pixel. Thanks to @PathGao.
  • Media settings now keep the title and tool picker in place when More options expands, and matching disclosure rows across Settings toggle from the full label. Thanks to @ruvelro.
  • Saved image profiles now restore max-side values up to 20,000 pixels without silently shrinking them. Thanks to @ruvelro.
  • Menu bar icon recovery no longer overlaps or hides the item under macOS system items like the battery icon.
  • Command Bar and quick tools no longer freeze when copying, opening links, or expanding snippets while the clipboard holds stalled content. Thanks to @PathGao and @atomsbaza.
  • Keep going with lid closed no longer fails to set up on accounts whose username contains @ or other non-alphanumeric characters, granting the rule by user ID instead. Thanks to @iltonandrew and @dhruvsaxena1998.
  • Uninstallation via script or inside the app now fully clears the Fan Control helper daemon registration, stored application data, caches and ByHost preferences. Thanks to @mugurc.
  • The menu bar panel keeps its arrow under the icon when the bar hides itself and the panel content changes height. Thanks to @pergioa.
  • Homebrew formulas installed from another tap now show their update on the row. Thanks to @pergioa.
  • Super key now shows why it could not remap Caps Lock, instead of staying on with a key that still only toggles capitals. Thanks to @PathGao.
  • Holding Super key now also moves and resizes windows by dragging. Thanks to @iltonandrew and @felixblaschke.
  • Shelf drop zone and menu bar icon hit testing no longer use off-screen coordinates when the menu bar is hidden in full screen. Thanks to @iltonandrew.
  • Settings backup import now coordinates file reading for cloud files and accepts XML backup files.
