Summary

More reliable window switching, audio, screenshots and display recovery, with safer file handling and app removal. New options include an all-windows shortcut, Claude account selection, scroll-to-zoom, a Quit apps panel and more flexible calendar countdowns.

Added

  • The window switcher has an optional All windows shortcut that cycles through individual windows across apps in every layout, including Large icons. Settings → Window switcher → All windows. Thanks to BrainAPP for the suggestion.
  • AI Agents can select an existing Claude Code account profile and show the monitored account. Local usage and plan limits follow the selected profile. Settings → Dynamic Island → Content → AI Agents → Claude account.
  • Dynamic Island level controls and the menu panel's mixer can be adjusted with a mouse wheel or trackpad. Thanks to @JB-OD.
  • Dynamic Island can start event countdowns 15, 30, 60 or 120 minutes before an event and keeps longer countdowns fully visible. Thanks to @Aryan-Saini.
  • An optional Pinch Zoom feature turns a modifier and mouse-wheel movement into pinch gestures in supported apps, with a choice of modifier and scroll exceptions. Thanks to @ahmadhatahet.
  • An optional Quit apps panel can request normal quits for one app, all apps or all except the current app, with a saved list of apps to keep running. Thanks to @thedankest.
  • Command Bar converts days, weeks and fixed 365-day years, with English and Portuguese unit names. Thanks to @asim-sde.
  • Settings backups can be exported or imported with --export-settings FILE and --import-settings FILE; importing requires the app to be closed. Thanks to @DrakeEvans.
  • Clipboard history can show source app icons in list view. The option starts off and preserves file icons and selection controls. Settings → Clipboard history → Show source app icons in list view. Thanks to @ywu73.
  • Dynamic Island can show a volume row below the music player. Settings → Dynamic Island → Content → Music → Show volume in the player.
  • Screenshots can copy the image, including edits, without a file URL for apps that otherwise paste an attachment. Settings → Screenshot → Copy as image only.
  • Quit on close can handle selected menu bar apps that keep a Dock icon after their last window closes. The list starts empty, and existing exceptions still apply. Settings → Quit on close → Menu bar apps to quit.
  • Window layout can reserve space for Stage Manager when maximizing or arranging windows, including the green-button override. Settings → Window layout → Reserve space for Stage Manager.
  • Switch Spaces by dragging a button now accepts the middle mouse button, including upward drags for Mission Control and downward drags for App Exposé. A short click keeps its normal behavior. Settings → Mouse → Mouse button shortcuts.

Changed

  • Homebrew opens installation, setup and password-required commands in your default terminal, without requiring Terminal Automation permission. Thanks to @hertza-haeon.
  • Snippet lists in Settings and the library use alphabetical order. Thanks to @Zekuath.
  • Clipboard history keeps fewer decoded thumbnails in memory to reduce its memory use.
  • Command Bar accepts British unit spellings and spaced fluid-ounce names.
  • The window switcher's icon row, previews and hints use Liquid Glass when available and enabled.
  • The window switcher allows up to 10 columns while preserving Auto and screen-width limits. Settings → Window switcher → Options → Maximum columns. Thanks to @EugeneCarldotme.

Fixed

  • Display controls keep manually disabled monitors off after wake while protecting the last usable display. You can still turn a monitor back on explicitly. Thanks to @Fenrir200678.
  • Network readings avoid double-counting traffic on mirrored virtual interfaces and false spikes when switching connections. Thanks to @Zekuath.
  • Super key modifiers reach session-based hotkey tools regardless of startup order, including after login. Shortcut recording still owns the source key and its solo actions. Thanks to @complicat9d for the diagnosis.
  • Dynamic Island's clipboard supports Control-N and Control-P to move through history, matching the separate clipboard panel. Thanks to @avgrpg for the report.
  • The uninstaller checks Homebrew again for each app and pauses removal when its package status cannot be verified, with a refresh action to retry. Thanks to @tzimpel.
  • URL Cleaner cleans Safari links that carry rich previews, preserving supported previews and removing tracking from their navigation addresses. Thanks to @anschmieg for the diagnosis.
  • Shelf copies files dragged from inside app packages or libraries, preserving the originals. Ordinary files and whole packages can still move. Thanks to @Dexist-hub.
  • Media image exports and newly saved image profiles preserve a zero watermark margin. Thanks to @JeanBaeez.
  • URL Cleaner rules added from links with login details or ports now match the intended site. Previously saved rules containing login details or ports need to be added again. Thanks to @g1obalworlds.
  • The radial menu's action editor keeps its file picker over the editor window, avoiding an invisible panel on multi-display setups. Thanks to @saiganeshreddy7.
  • Mic Mute describes its device-control limits and reports known failures even when no microphone could be changed. Siri and some apps may still hear audio. Thanks to @sarat03 for the diagnosis.
  • The onboarding feature picker stays responsive when scrolling. Thanks to @yousefhamza.
  • Wallpaper previews for ultra-wide images stay within their grid cells. Thanks to @ozanuslan.
  • Dynamic Island keeps volume, brightness and keyboard-light notices at a stable width as the percentage gains a digit. Thanks to @nikigan.
  • AI Agents cards keep "left" or "used" beside limit percentages, even in narrow layouts. Thanks to @sakemyali.
  • AI Agents settings previews show example limit percentages when account limits are unavailable. Thanks to @hrithiksaini99.
  • Command Bar finds English built-in commands and system answers when the interface uses another language. Thanks to @ywu73.
  • Clicking outside Dynamic Island dismisses its screenshot preview while preserving active sharing, pinned surfaces and clicks in copies on other displays. Thanks to @samanyudas.
  • Extra Brightness keeps app windows visible in Mission Control's desktop thumbnails. Thanks to @othmanehousni.
  • The Features page keeps its scroll position when restart and unused-feature notices appear or disappear.
  • The window switcher reaches fullscreen windows and windows on other Spaces more reliably, shows their titles and avoids sending duplicate close requests.
  • The window switcher opens more efficiently when many windows are open.
  • The window switcher's search field stays within its panel and remains readable on light backgrounds and Liquid Glass.
  • Focus follows mouse preserves window order when Bring the window to the front is off.
  • Quit Protection follows changes to macOS app-switcher shortcuts and respects required Fn, preventing unprotected quits after Vorssaint's switcher closes. Thanks to @ruvelro.
  • Quit on close no longer mistakes leftover entries from closed windows for open windows. Minimized windows and windows on other Spaces still count as open.
  • The menu bar panel recovers from interrupted closes so later clicks can open it again.
  • Recent captures keeps its Clear history confirmation open and removes a pending confirmation when the palette closes.
  • Dynamic Island moves between displays without stretching, losing mouse input or restarting the music bars.
  • Dynamic Island's timer ruler fills the available width near its minimum and maximum durations, keeping the selected minute visible.
  • Volume keys advance supported USB outputs that round volume changes into fixed steps, and feedback follows the device's confirmed level.
  • Volume mixer keeps volume adjustments working on supported multichannel outputs and recovers when audio formats or sample rates change.
  • Low disk-space alerts use refreshed capacity readings to avoid false warnings.
  • System monitor improves CPU temperature sensor detection on M1 and 14-core M4 Max Macs.
  • Power can use DC input readings on desktop Macs when adapter readings are unavailable.
  • Fan Control attempts to restore System control after hardware failures, offers a retry if restoration fails and hides outdated temperatures when its helper stops responding.
  • The menu bar panel no longer draws a second background with mismatched corners on macOS Sonoma and Sequoia.
  • Scrolling screenshots preserve the selected width, keep sparse Terminal output aligned and continue through smaller overlaps on long pages, including blank spacing and low-contrast content.
  • The cleaner leaves system log files out of app leftovers.
  • Command Bar handles extreme date calculations without crashing and preserves very small results in non-temperature unit conversions.
  • Clipboard history ignores marked temporary content and restores the previous copy without another notice, while preserving ordinary copies and sensitive-text filtering.
  • Pinned GPU, temperature and fan menu bar readings follow the selected System monitor update interval.
  • Dynamic Island's full-screen hiding recognizes games whose windows cover the desktop without entering a separate full-screen space.
  • Dynamic Island's Hide content in full screen blocks hover opening again. Hidden until hover in full screen is a separate option under Settings → Dynamic Island → Behavior → Display.
  • Dynamic Island stays responsive during slow Bluetooth discovery and ignores outdated connection alerts after sleep or when alerts are turned off.
  • Volume mixer recognizes headphones from their Core Audio device information, including models whose names do not say headphones.
  • Volume mixer leaves Discord and Teams audio untouched by default to prevent call echo when sharing audio. Their app menus can re-enable volume control, with a reminder to turn it off before sharing; saved levels and outputs are preserved.
  • Volume mixer avoids audio cutouts and delayed playback after brief interruptions in captured sound.
  • Screen recordings avoid loud noise from 16-bit USB microphones.
  • Screenshot area selection keeps its crosshair over other apps, and card shadows follow the captured window's own rounded corners.
