Summary
The resizable Clipboard list is back, alongside improvements to music controls, search, downloads and audio routing.
Highlights
- Clipboard history opens as a resizable list again, with room for a preview and selection actions on smaller screens. The card layout remains available in Settings → Clipboard → History layout.
- Command Bar remembers your app and emoji choices after a restart. Use Forget learned ranking in Settings to clear them.
- When nothing is playing, click the cover or playback controls in Dynamic Island to open your music app. Choose the app in Settings → Dynamic Island → Content → Music. Opening it does not start playback.
Changed
- AI Agents is a separate choice when installing Dynamic Island. Updates preserve existing settings. Its frequent log checks pause when there are no active sessions or recent logs.
- Clicking a completed download's name or icon opens it in its default app. Finder and Shelf actions remain available.
- The Settings sidebar can be hidden and shown from the toolbar or with Control-Command-S, including in full screen.
Fixed
- Screenshots taken with Freeze screen on include Dynamic Island when Show in screenshots and videos is enabled. Capture controls and previews stay out.
- Safari downloads show progress and completion notices, including quick downloads.
- Command Bar takes keyboard focus when its drop animation finishes.
- The calculator handles expressions such as
100 - 20 - 30and8 / 2 / 2without treating dates or times as calculations. - Watch reads the complete percentage, including values above 999%, spaces between thousands and negative signs.
- Dynamic Island recognizes tracks from mpv launched in Terminal when it reports playback to macOS.
- Cleaner no longer lists an installed app's preferences as leftovers. Cleaner and Uninstaller also avoid confusing unrelated apps with shared components.
- Uninstalling the last copy of an app clears its Command Bar shortcuts, aliases, pins and hidden entries.
- Paste as plain text preserves images, videos and files, including when assigned to Command-V.
- Brightness keys keep their press and release together when displays reconnect or the pointer changes displays.
- The menu bar panel opens on the next click after closing, without the delay that could swallow that click.
- Scrolling through Dock previews no longer jumps back to the hovered window.
- Per-app audio output choices stay in effect at 100% volume. Changing the output for all apps also reroutes apps that were still using the previous device.
- Switching to Wine apps no longer sends the extra mouse press that could leave a button stuck in games.
