github vexorian/dizquetv 1.0.1

latest releases: 1.5.5, 1.5.4, 1.5.3...

It's recommended you take a backup of .dizquetv or .pseudotv folder (or your docker volume) before trying a new version. Just in case so that you can revert back with no issue. dizqueTV will attempt to migrate your folder to the new version. pseudoTV users please rename the folder to .dizqueTV before running this.

Changes in 1.0.1:

1.0.x versions starting with 1.0.1 are considered stable versions. Meaning that they will not receive new features, but they will receive new bug fixes until another stable branch replaces them for development.

Bug Fixes:
  • Adding filler clips to a channel that already contains a lot of filler clips should be much faster than it used to be.
  • Loading screen will only stream for 40 milliseconds instead of 1 second. Of course, if there truly is a delay or buffering for playing the first video, you will still see the loading screen for a longer time.
  • Fix TV guide sending tons and tons of /status requests to the dizquetv backend, even after switching to another web view.
  • Long (> 30m) blocks of consecutive short Flex periods will render as a big block with the channel name as opposed of getting merged with the previous show. Do remember that short (< 5m) videos are treated the same as Flex by the TV guide.

Note about a Plex DVR bug

There's currently a bug in Plex DVR that makes it repeat videos instead of advancing to the next episode. Please read this Plex bug report for more info: https://forums.plex.tv/t/live-tv-restarts-show-after-completion-in-web-player/634004
