Minor Changes

• 04b6464: Simplify the CLI around explicit local and remote agent workflows. Use eve remote to connect to, invoke, or inspect an existing agent; eve dev now starts only local development.

  Replace eve dev <url> with eve remote connect <url>, and eve invoke with eve remote invoke <url>. Replace eve set --model and eve set --reasoning with eve set model [model] [--reasoning <effort>].

• f9addc3: Remove the conversation / task run mode. Every session now parks after each turn instead of ending, including markdown schedules and MCP agent_start invocations. Sessions that cannot request input, such as markdown schedules, still fail when a tool needs approval. agent_get reports completed once the turn settles, and a recoverable model failure fails only that turn. The mode option is gone from ChannelAddress and Chat SDK send(...) options, as well as from audience and trace-policy inputs. The eve HTTP channel now ignores a mode field on session creation. outputSchema is removed from defineAgent, defineRemoteAgent, defineWorkspaceAgent, dynamic subagent configs, agent info, the model-facing subagent and agentRouter() tool inputs, MCP agent_start, and channel from(address).send() / respond() options; request structured output per turn through the session API or ctx.agent().

Patch Changes

• bd71df9: Finish refused approval-response deliveries without leaving clients streaming, and let the dev TUI retry refused approvals. The default reducer now keeps approval, question, and session-limit prompts pending until server confirmation; frontends should disable response controls while the store is submitted, streaming, or resuming instead of relying on the prompt disappearing immediately.

• e7d2057: Await instrumentation setup before loading server dependencies in development and production, so OpenTelemetry can instrument external packages such as pg.

• 01cb6b4: Fix compiling agents on Windows when a mounted extension contributes a subagent. Each subagent's workspace resources now live in one URL-encoded directory under .eve/compile/workspace-resources/, so ids that contain : no longer produce invalid Windows paths.
