Installable development preview built from the merged tool-error stubs PR #4524, commit 724846842e6d25d3d7f0716a4dc54f89671ab44a. Includes the final authentication and declarative tool-stub APIs from #4370, plus thrown outcomes and recovery on subsequent calls.

It uses the published ghcr.io/vercel/eve:0.74.0 sandbox image. The source version was stamped as 0.74.0+tool-stubs.4524.724846842 before packing (pnpm normalizes the packed manifest), and scaffold dependencies point at this release asset. No framework implementation changes were made beyond the merged source.
Includes runtime, CLI, TypeScript declarations, and version-matched docs. Tested in internal-agents with three live-model tool-stub scenarios: argument matching, sequential responses across turns, and an injected timeout followed by a successful retry. All 16 assertions passed; all six evaluation snapshots validated, with three completed attempts and every score equal to 1. Repository typecheck, lint, formatting, and consistency checks passed.
This is a GitHub prerelease and does not change npm's latest tag. Tool replacement requires verified authentication granting allowToolStubs; see bundled docs/evals/tool-stubs.mdx.
