Each server connection can create its own event parser. Reported gross token totals include thinking and tool-use counts, with cached input portions and available modality counts normalized without guessing missing values. Usage in a completion frame is attached to response-done; other snapshots use custom events with rawType: 'usageMetadata' and typed usage, preserving lifecycle ordering without inferring response associations.

• 3c6fb43: Forward explicit speech language codes to Gemini TTS for single- and multi-speaker requests, including the shared Vertex Gemini adapter. Omitted languages and language: 'auto' retain automatic detection without an unsupported-language warning.
