- Discover now shows recommendations for all libraries — The
ratingsCount < 50hard filter was silently dropping every candidate from the most useful recommendation sources: monitored-author books, series continuations, and genre-popular picks from OpenLibrary. These sources already carry an implicit quality signal (the user chose to monitor the author; the book is part of a series they're reading; OL's subject curators selected it), so gating them on OL's sparse ratings data was wrong. Only serendipity and list-cross candidates — which come from broader, uncurated pools — now require a ratings signal. The filter is unchanged for those types.
