• 🤖 Dependabot groups — .github/dependabot.yml now batches related updates into a single PR instead of opening 1 PR per dep. This prevents the weekly flood of tiny PRs and makes review batches much more digestible.
  • npm patch-and-minor group: all minor + patch updates → 1 PR (safe, reviewable in bulk)
  • npm major-updates group: all major bumps → 1 PR (breaking changes still get focused review)
  • github-actions group: all action updates → 1 PR (actions are typically backwards-compatible)
  • Expected result: ~3 PRs per week instead of 7+ individual ones.
