Added
- Skip Intro from chapter names. A file whose chapters are named "Opening", "OP", "Ending",
"Credits", "Recap" or "Intro" now offers Skip Intro, Skip Recap and Skip Outro at exactly those
chapters, including for titles no online skip database knows. For episodes the file's own
chapters take priority and the databases fill in what they leave out. For films the existing
credits marks are kept. - Dim player controls on HDR video. A new option under Settings → Playback, next to the
separate HDR subtitle style, draws the player's controls at the same reduced brightness on HDR
and Dolby Vision pictures. - More stream languages recognised. Language codes and words such as ITA, ENG, GER, Castellano
and Deutsch in a release name now count when sources are filtered and sorted by language, and
Hebrew is available as a language. The title's own words are no longer read as a language, so
"The Italian Job" is not listed as an Italian release. - Sharper player badges. Dolby Atmos, DTS-HD Master Audio, DTS:X and HDR10+ are taken from the
file name when the decoder confirms the underlying format, and AC-4, PCM and the codec beneath
Dolby Vision are recognised. A file name can no longer contradict what the decoder reports, such
as a 1080p label on a 2160p file.
Fixed
- MDBList no longer signs out on a network hiccup. A token renewal that timed out, ran offline
or was interrupted used to end the MDBList session. Now only a renewal the service actually
refuses ends it. - Switching profiles during a sync no longer sends one profile's add-ons or plugins to
another profile's account data, and the newly selected profile is synced as soon as the running
sync finishes. - Live channels no longer leave a resume point on Continue Watching or report progress to
Trakt, Simkl or MDBList. - Leaving the app during playback now pauses it and saves the exact position.
- Choosing a source in the player is no longer interrupted by focus jumping back to the first
result while more sources load. - Subtitles drop back down as soon as the player controls disappear, instead of staying raised
until the next line. - Custom poster patterns copied with percent-encoded placeholders (
%7Bshape%7D) now work. - The frame rate in stream information shows 23.976 and 29.97 rather than rounding them to 24
and 30. - Montenegrin subtitle tracks are grouped with Serbian instead of under an unknown "MNE" label.
- Speaker labels written in brackets, such as
[John]:, are removed cleanly when hearing-impaired
annotations are stripped. - Episode images on Continue Watching are tried again after a failed attempt instead of staying
missing until the next launch. - Large watch histories sync without stalling the interface, and playback writes its progress to
disk less often. - The QR code screens, including QR sign-in, no longer redraw the code every second.
