MDBList accounts
MDBList joins Trakt and Simkl as an account you can sign into, rather than just a
ratings key. Register an application at mdblist.com, paste its client id in
Settings → Integrations, and a code appears for you to type on mdblist.com.
Once connected:
- Your watchlist and static lists appear in the Library. Pick MDBList under
Sources. - Resume points come back. Continue Watching can read from MDBList the way it
already reads from Trakt and Simkl. - Playback is reported back, and marking something watched or adding it to your
library writes there too. - The ratings row works without a key. If you have already pasted an API key it
keeps priority — it is the quota you chose to spend.
Poster artwork from your own URL
Point Nuvio at a rating-overlay service — RatingPosterDB and its relatives — instead
of each addon's own posters. Settings → Layout → Poster cards → Poster artwork.
The URL is typed on your phone: the Apple TV serves a page, you scan the code, and
the page shows the pattern resolved against two real titles so you can see whether it
works before leaving the screen. Choose which screens it applies to — every one you
leave on multiplies the requests to the service.
A title the pattern cannot address keeps its addon's poster, and so does one whose
artwork fails to load. You should never see a blank card because of this.
Play now says when nothing can play it
The Play button is greyed out, with a line saying why, when no enabled addon or
scraper can serve streams for that title. Previously it opened an empty list.
A fix to which episode Play resumes
If you finished a late episode and are part-way through an earlier one, Play offered
the episode after the late one — and there was no way to reach the one you were
actually watching. It now prefers whatever you have in progress, while still keeping
a rewatch of an early episode from dragging the series backwards.

- Simkl can be your More like this source, alongside TMDB and Trakt. It puts
what other viewers went on to watch ahead of genre matches.
Still looking for
Two reports from the last release are unresolved and would be helped by details:
- Player controls disappearing while in use — which control, and what you pressed.
- Search field text not centred — a photo of the screen.
