Badge rules
A source list can now say what you want it to say. Point the Apple TV at a badge
pack — a JSON file of named patterns with their own colours and logos — and every
matching source gets its badge. It uses the same file format as NuvioTV for
Android TV, so a pack written there works here unchanged.
Settings → Playback → Source list → Badge rules. Scan the code with a phone
on the same Wi-Fi; adding, swapping and removing packs all happen there. Three
packs can be held at once and one is applied.
Plugin repositories, from a phone
The same idea for plugin repositories: the phone lists them and asks for changes,
and the Apple TV asks you before anything happens. Adding a repository
installs code that then runs on every stream search, and this page is visible to
your whole network — so the phone can only ask.
