⚠️ Alpha build — this release is for early testers only. Take a backup before upgrading, expect rough edges, and please report anything broken. Regular users should wait for the upcoming beta.
👥 Profiles and addons
- Large IPTV playlists no longer strand an install in legacy mode — oversized encrypted resources are stored safely without breaking migration or hiding the profile's other credentials
- Migrated subtitle addons work on Android TV again, including private Stremio addons whose authentication is carried in the URL
- Profile-owned playback preferences now stay synchronized with both native TV players; subtitle appearance, fonts and in-player style changes follow the active profile
- Addon enable/disable switches work again, including re-enabling an addon that was previously turned off
- If migration does fall back to legacy mode, Profiles now shows the actual reason in a photographable diagnostic dialog
🎬 Library and home
- Browse alternate sources and control movie or episode completion directly from the interface
- Watched badges and local series completion are derived consistently, with existing playback completion migrated forward
- Played watchlist titles move naturally into Continue Watching
- Showcase artwork is sharper, landing episodes appear correctly, loading transitions are calmer, and source sheets exit reliably
📺 TV experience
- Spotlight can preview IPTV channels, while source and category screens keep focus visible and predictable
- Hidden categories can be managed in bulk and are revealed correctly when focused
- Detail pages retain the full parallax treatment on Android TV without making large home grids pay the performance cost
🎥 Playback
- Network buffering presets use safe memory budgets on Android TV, preventing high-bitrate streams from exhausting the app heap
- Live TV recovery no longer loops through repeated rewinds; recurring video stalls escalate to stricter demuxing and then stop retrying when recovery cannot stick
- Native subtitle styling is consistent across Torrent and Torbox playback
🐧 Linux
- Portable Linux builds now package and verify their bundled libmpv dependencies more reliably on both supported architectures
