📼 Recording — Debrify is a DVR now
- Record live TV in the background — recording runs over its own connection, independent of playback: zap away, leave the app, even close it — the capture keeps going and lands in
Downloads/Debrify/Recordings. - Schedule from the guide — pick any upcoming programme in a channel's TV guide and hit Record; an exact alarm starts the capture on time even with the app closed, and stops it when the programme ends. The now-playing programme records too — "record the rest, stop on time".
- Manual timer — choose a channel, a start time and a duration yourself; a start of "now" begins within seconds.
- The Recordings hub — the Scheduled tab grew into a full DVR page: what's recording right now (with a Stop button on each card), what's coming up (with countdowns), and a Library of every finished recording — playable in-app with one press, deletable with two.
- Simultaneous recordings, your call — a new setting (default 2, up to 4) governs how many captures can run at once, with the honest warning that every recording is an extra provider connection. Any record or schedule that would conflict tells you what's in the way and offers the two real fixes: raise the limit or free a slot.
- Works back to Android 9 — older TV boxes record to public storage with a one-time permission ask.
- Desktop records too — macOS/Windows/Linux capture while Debrify is open, with the same hub, scheduling and limits.
- Asked when it matters — the first record/schedule asks (once) for notification access so progress and "saved" alerts can show, and if a recording ever dies because the phone put Debrify to sleep, the hub offers the battery-optimization exemption with one tap.
- Recording isn't possible on iOS — Apple allows no background capture — and the app now says so instead of hiding it.
📡 IPTV Command Center
- A cockpit for TV and desktop — the IPTV page is now rail → guide → stage: every source, list and Favorites down the left with live counts, your channels in the middle, and a stage on the right with the focused channel's preview, actions and its day schedule.
- Record from anywhere — the stage's schedule rows, the full guide pane and the player's channel sheet all carry a visible Record chip on the now-playing and upcoming programmes; the stage's Record button flips to Stop while its channel is being captured.
- Recordings, one tap from the phone page — a record-dot lives at the end of the filters bar, glowing red while anything records, opening the hub directly.
📱 Phone navigation
- A proper classic nav — phones get a real bottom bar: Home, three slots you pick, and More holding everything else (edit inside the More sheet). The floating glass button lives on under Settings → Navigation if you prefer it.
- Back behaves like Android — back on any tab returns to Home first, and only a deliberate double-back on Home exits. This also fixes the long-standing bug where the app could close from a "single" back press: every tab used to arm the exit timer, and the arm survived tab switches.
📺 TV
- A cleaner cold start — the TV splash prepaints Home behind a static lockup and cuts straight to it instead of fading through a half-built board.
