⚠️ Alpha build — for early testers only. Regular users should wait for the upcoming beta. Expect rough edges and please report anything broken.
📡 IPTV
- Your own channel lists — create any number of named lists and file channels into them. Favorites is now simply the built-in one, and your lists appear as their own sources in the guide and on TV. Hold OK on the remote (long-press on phone) to choose where a channel goes.
- Boot straight into a live channel — optional set-top-box behaviour: on a cold start Debrify can tune into your last watched channel, or one you picked, and leave you on that row when you back out. Off by default, and Back cancels at any point.
- Rebuilt IPTV settings on TV and desktop — a two-pane page with your actual sources down the left and everything about the selected one on the right: live / movie / series counts, categories, guide source and last refresh. Each source is one DPAD stop instead of four.
- "Add playlist" now lands on the add form — every Add affordance on the IPTV page opens settings on the add screen, with the method chooser focused on TV, instead of dropping you on your default source.
- The Sources dropdown has sections — Quick access, Your lists, Your playlists and Stremio Addons, each ending with the action that adds another of its kind.
- The default playlist is honoured again — Favorites was overruling the default you set in Settings, so it only ever applied if you had no starred channels.
- A more accurate guide — where a provider publishes the same programmes twice with a time offset between them, the XMLTV timeline now wins, so the schedule can no longer contradict the now/next card. Catch-up recordings still resolve correctly.
- Filters are in plain sight again in the two-pane guide, instead of collapsing behind a Filters button in a wide window.
- The redesigned IPTV page is now the only layout — the opt-out toggle is gone.
📺 IPTV in the player
- Channel zapping on phone and desktop — previous/next channel now works on live TV, paging through the rest of the category and crossing into the next one at the edges. CH +/−, PageUp/Down, LEFT/RIGHT with the controls hidden, or the dock's prev/next buttons.
- The broadcast channel banner — the TV player's lower third (logo, number, name, what's on now with a progress rule, and what's next) replaces the two duplicate corner badges. It floats for a few seconds after a zap and doubles as the header of the controls dock, and it no longer pairs one channel's number with the previous channel's name.
- Live TV stops offering controls it can't use — the seek bar, playback speed and Random are hidden on live channels.
- Searching the guide actually searches — typing used to filter only the page already loaded, so a channel that plainly exists came back as "No channels found". Search now runs when you submit it, against the whole source, across every category.
- Searchable category picker — categories were a horizontal chip row a mouse cannot scroll, which put every chip past the fold out of reach on desktop.
- The guide follows what you're watching — it re-anchors to the playing channel's own category after a zap, instead of reopening on a category that no longer contains what's on screen.
📊 Trakt & Simkl
- Branded tracker controls on the series page — Trakt and Simkl each get a single pill carrying their own mark, their name and the live status they hold for the title, opening a sheet scoped to that tracker. Trakt's watchlist / collection / watched are switches; Simkl's five statuses are one picker; both gained an inline 1–10 rating strip. Debrify's own actions move to a neutral More sheet and work even while Trakt is disconnected.
- Trackers have their own settings section — Trakt, Simkl and MDBList move out of Connections, which had grown to ten cards covering five unrelated jobs.
- Simkl rows announce themselves on TV, the way Trakt's already did, so late-arriving Continue Watching rows don't reshuffle the board unnoticed.
🏠 Home
- Hold a Continue Watching card for Play or Remove — taking a title off the row no longer means opening its detail page to find the action. Works on all eight rows (local, Trakt, Simkl, IPTV), and IPTV gained removal it never had.
- The IPTV shelf points at the episode you're actually on — the phone and desktop player only recorded the episode you launched, so auto-advancing through a series left the card behind.
🎬 Elsewhere
- Detail page summaries are back — IMDb started rejecting our requests with a 403, which silently took out the plot, cast, awards, credits, box office, certificate and the parents guide on both detail screens. Fixed, and the Cinemeta fallback now actually runs for rows that carry no description of their own.
