- Huge playlists just work — the channel catalog now lives in a database and loads a page at a time, so memory stays flat whether your playlist has 500 channels or 50,000. The freeze when first opening a very large panel is gone.
- Instant loads after the first time — your channel list is cached to disk and refreshed quietly in the background, with a refresh button for when you want it now. First loads tell you what they're doing instead of showing a bare spinner.
- Redesigned channel browser — programme rows show what's on now, every source collapses into a single Sources dropdown, and categories, counts and filters are clearer throughout.
- Stable channel numbers — channels keep consistent numbers across sessions, and you can jump straight to one by typing its number.
- Search no longer freezes the app — channel search runs off the main thread and runs when you submit, so typing in a huge playlist stays smooth.
- Edit a saved playlist in place — change a playlist without deleting and re-adding it, and give Xtream sources a friendly name.
- More reliable Xtream streams — retries and a longer timeout when fetching stream links.
- Better guide coverage — programme data is fetched more sparingly, and a failed lookup no longer sticks as "no guide" for the rest of the session.
📺 IPTV on TV
- New channel banner — changing channel now shows a broadcast-style lower third: channel logo and number, what's on now with a progress bar, what's next, and on-screen hints for the keys that change channel and open the guide.
- The full guide, on TV — the programme guide, stream quality and fullscreen channel zapping all arrived on the TV player.
- Hold UP to jump to a channel number.
- Night mode and rebalanced live controls — player controls that suit live TV rather than video-on-demand.
- Smoother navigation — the guide no longer overflows the screen, and focus landing on a row mid-press no longer starts playing it by accident.
📱 Tablets
- IPTV on tablets — a two-pane layout with live preview playback beside the channel list, themed to match the rest of the app.
- Reachable Stremio TV hero — the hero card can now be selected on tablets.
🍎 iOS
- Sideloadable builds — the release IPA is now ad-hoc signed, so it installs through AltStore or SideStore without any extra preparation.
🎬 Players
- Simkl episode state in playlists — watched state from Simkl now feeds the player's episode list.
- Fixed the native player's title visibility, Stremio TV episode playback, and Debrify TV now honors your external player setting.
🏠 Elsewhere
- Cloud providers as bound sources — bind a cloud account the same way as any other source.
- Remote is in Settings on every device — it was hidden on tablets and on phones in landscape, where the floating menu also disappears, leaving search as the only way to find it.
- Play from a PikPak-only detail page.
- Every desktop sidebar item now shows its label, screens keep their state across rotation, and fixes landed for the Home default view, deep-link torrent handling, and keyword results on the active debrid provider.
