This release brings compatibility to the X4 Pro.

Changes in RC-4

• Includes SDK updates to fix the mirrored display issue seen in latest X4 Pro display variants.
• The lowest brightness setting on the X4 Pro is now 10x dimmer thanks to updates in the FreeInk SDK.
• You can now customize what pressing the Up + Down buttons together do. If you're on a touchscreen device, this will always open the reader menu when your touchscreen is disabled. Set the shortcut from Settings > Controls > Side Buttons.
• XTC covers should display correctly in home screens across all themes now (fixes #582)
• Sleeping via the Quick Actions menu should display the book cover now (fixes #583)
• Page turns mapped to the home button should work when reading XTC/XTCH files now (fixes #580)
• Swiping to go to previous chapter should land you at the start of the chapter now (fixes #575)
• Chapter skips trigger after elapsed time instead of release on long-press of side buttons (fixes #576)
• Touch devices should see a "Sync" button when doing a Nearby Stats Sync now (fixes #573)
• TXT font-size gestures and shortcuts work correctly (fixes #577).
• Chapter skips trigger when the long-press duration threshold is reached, rather than on release (fixes #576).
• Touch dictionary lookup can switch dictionaries after a miss (fixes #591).
• Low-memory EPUB layout exits safely instead of aborting/restarting (fixes #597).
• Button long-press actions no longer interfere with touch page turns (fixes #594).
• Holding buttons in the saved-clippings list no longer crashes (fixes #593).
• EPUB table captions no longer crash low-memory indexing (fixes #565).

New

• Full touch support for Xteink X4 Pro
• New Quick Actions menu where you can set 5 shortcuts accessible via any of the shortcut buttons. Settings > Controls > Quick Actions
• The Power + Up button combo can now be assigned to a shortcut. Get to it from Settings > Controls > Power button > Power + Up
• New Quick Lock shortcut for locking the device without actually putting it to sleep. This disables all buttons (and the touchscreen) and must be unlocked with the same button shortcut.

• Fonts now display their installed point sizes next to their name (addresses #491)
• The boot-up splash screen has been removed. You will now wake directly to your last screen
• Mark as Finished and Controls have been moved to the third tab (settings gear icon) in the reader menu
• Wi-Fi passwords are now shown while entering them.
