This release marks nine months since the first version of BYOS Laravel and introduces native support for iCal feeds as a polling URL, effectively bringing calendar support to BYOS. (Click 'Seed Example Recipes' via the ⌄ menu in Plugins & Recipes to explore an example implementation.)
Since launch, more than 350 commits (and many, many hours of development) have gone into this project, along with a steady stream of new features. BYOS Laravel has grown into what I consider the most ambitious community-driven server in the ecosystem. Recent versions introduced device models, color palettes, support for the TRMNL Recipe Catalog, Design Framework v2 support, and much more.
This will be the final feature release of the year. My goal is to continue polishing and improving stability as I work toward the first targeted stable 1.0 release in H1 2026.
