1.39.0 (2026-10-05)
🔄 Updates you can count on
- The update dialog waits for the update. It shows download progress and only offers Restart once the new version is in place. Before, restarting too early brought the old version back.
- Failures are explained. If an update can't be installed, the dialog shows why, with Try again and a link to the download page. On macOS, an app that still carries the quarantine flag can't replace itself, so the dialog shows how to fix that.
- Announcements. JET Pilot can now show important notices from jet-pilot.app, such as how to update by hand if a release can't update itself. Dismissed notices stay dismissed.
Features
Install
-
macOS:
brew install --cask unxsist/tap/jet-pilot, or download the.dmgfor Apple Silicon (aarch64) or Intel (x64).[!IMPORTANT]
JET Pilot isn't notarized by Apple. The Homebrew tap removes the quarantine flag for you. If you install the.dmgyourself and macOS says the app "is damaged" or "can't be verified", run this once:xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine "/Applications/JET Pilot.app" -
Windows: the
.exeor.msiinstaller (SmartScreen: More info → Run anyway). -
Linux:
.deb,.rpmor.AppImagefor x64 and ARM64.
Existing installs update themselves. On 1.38.1 or older, give the update a minute before clicking Restart. If you're still on the old version afterwards, download it from jet-pilot.app or run brew upgrade --cask --greedy unxsist/tap/jet-pilot.
