Release Notes

This release introduces updated DeepSeek model compatibility, official Polish language support, complete localization updates, and bug fixes for preventing network popups and better prior book ID for series book recaps.

DeepSeek Model Upgrades

We have updated the DeepSeek integration to utilize their latest V4 models:

• Modernized Models: The interface now lists deepseek-v4-flash (for standard lookups) and deepseek-v4-pro (for deep reasoning analysis) instead of legacy names.
• Automatic Migration: If you are already using DeepSeek, your saved settings will automatically migrate to the new models without any manual configuration needed.

New Polish Translation

Polish is now officially supported:

• Full Translation: The entire plugin interface, menus, settings, and help files have been translated into Polish.
• Seamless Integration: The plugin automatically detects and adapts when your KOReader interface language is set to Polish.

Completed Translations for All Languages

We have fully updated and completed translation coverage for all supported languages:

• No More Untranslated Text: Filled in all missing translation gaps for German, Spanish, French, Hungarian, Dutch, Polish, Brazilian Portuguese, Russian, Turkish, Ukrainian, and Simplified Chinese.
• Settings Clarification: Updated the descriptions in the AI Reasoning settings for all languages to accurately outline which specific models (GPT, Claude, Gemini) support the "Reasoning Effort" depth adjustments.

Bug Fixes

• Silent Network Connections: Fixed an issue where automated background tasks would force KOReader to wake up the network adapter and show a Wi-Fi connection popup. The plugin now respects the device's offline status silently without prompt dialogs.
• Series Book Recaps: Improve the prompt to prevent AI mistakes with IDing previous books in the series.
