Today's update adds support for the newest generation of GPT models and introduces more control over how they process your book data.
- New Model Support: You can now select the latest GPT-5 series models, including gpt-5.5, gpt-5.4-mini, and gpt-5.4-nano, directly from the AI Settings.
- GPT Reasoning Effort: We've introduced a new setting for compatible GPT models that lets you adjust their Reasoning Effort. You can set this from Low to Extra High to control the depth of the AI's analysis.
- Modern API Integration: We've updated the way the plugin communicates with modern OpenAI models to use their latest standards, which improves overall reliability and response quality.
To try these out, select one of the new models in your AI Settings and look for the new Reasoning Effort menu.
