Changed

  • The Budget header now keeps its place on every tab. The month stepper used to disappear without a word on five of the seven tabs, leaving a gap where the date had been, so it was never clear whether the month you had picked still applied. Tabs that have no time frame now say so quietly in the same spot: "Current balances", "All active subscriptions", "All loans", "All groups". "Current month" also moved behind the stepper instead of sitting between the back arrow and the date, where a reset button had no business being.
  • Statistics no longer keeps a second, separate period picker. It had its own stepper at a different position, in a different format (01/07/2026 - 31/07/2026 instead of July 2026) and with its own anchor that was never in sync: picking March on the Budget tab and switching to Statistics showed July. Statistics now steps through the shared header, its Week/Month/Year switcher only picks how wide a step is, and both ends are reconciled when you switch tabs, in either direction. Week bounds still come from the server, so there is only one definition of a week.
  • Every switcher bar in the Budget module looks and behaves the same. There were four looks for the same question - a tinted capsule, a square accent-filled rectangle, a white tile and an outlined pill - and two of them offered no arrow-key navigation at all, so the keyboard handling you learned on Budget and Statistics was silently lost on Loans and Split Expenses. Loan status, group status and the account colour picker now share one appearance and one behaviour; the colour picker gained arrow keys in the process. Their touch targets grew from 40 and 28 pixels to the shared minimum of 44 (48 on touch devices).

Fixed

  • Subscription monograms were unreadable for many brands. The letters and the tile behind them were drawn from the same brand colour, so how legible a subscription was came down to which services a household happens to pay for: ten contrast failures across the seven demo brands, the worst at 1.83:1 where 4.5:1 is required, and nothing a user could do about it short of changing the brand colour. The brand now carries the tile and its border while the letters come from the regular text colour, which measures 12.9:1 in light mode and 10.7:1 in dark. The same flaw sat unnoticed in the account tiles on the Accounts tab and was fixed with it.
