This patch fixes an upgrade failure that hit some v2.56 workspaces. Workflow code steps containing NUL characters caused the upgrade command to stall and not complete.
Those steps are now skipped, and the upgrade finishes normally. If your workspace was stuck after upgrading to v2.56, this release unblocks it.
