1. Uninstall keeps what it cannot prove is leftover: The install folder is removed only after the app's uninstall entry is gone, so cancelling an uninstaller no longer deletes the app, and a drive root, your profile folders, ProgramData or Program Files are never treated as leftovers.
2. Clean leaves your data alone: mo clean no longer touches Zoom's chat database, Teams storage, pinned jump lists and recent items, unsynced Office and Outlook files, Dropbox and OneDrive folders, cloud CLI credentials, installed Haskell and Elixir packages, or dumps and logs in your profile folder.
3. Protected paths for secrets: No command deletes anything inside Windows credential and certificate stores, and cleanup also refuses SSH, cloud and Docker key folders, browser logins, cookies and sessions, and Claude Code and Codex transcripts.
4. Uninstall shows the right apps and sizes: An app whose installer wrote a wrong size, such as RustDesk at 67 GB, now shows its real size, duplicate entries appear once, Windows updates and system components are hidden, and Microsoft Store, App Installer and Windows Security can no longer be removed.
5. Each uninstaller runs once: Mole starts an app's own uninstaller once instead of retrying guessed silent switches, which could open its window several times, and reports an app that is still installed afterwards.
6. Optimize stops resetting your network: mo optimize no longer resets Winsock, which dropped VPN and virtual network adapters until a restart, and no longer rebuilds the Search index or the icon, font and Store caches.

1. 卸载时不确定是残留的就不删：只有在软件的卸载项真正消失后才会删除它的安装目录，所以在卸载程序里点了取消，软件不会再被删掉，盘符根目录、用户文件夹、ProgramData 和 Program Files 也永远不会被当成残留。
2. 清理不再碰你的数据：mo clean 不再删除 Zoom 的聊天数据库、Teams 的存储、固定的跳转列表和最近使用记录、Office 和 Outlook 里还没同步的文件、Dropbox 和 OneDrive 的目录、云服务命令行工具的凭据、已安装的 Haskell 和 Elixir 包，以及用户目录下的转储和日志文件。
3. 保护存放密钥的目录：所有命令都不会删除 Windows 凭据和证书存储里的任何东西，清理时还会避开 SSH、云服务和 Docker 的密钥目录、浏览器的登录信息、Cookie 和会话，以及 Claude Code 和 Codex 的对话记录。
4. 卸载列表显示正确的软件和大小：安装程序写错大小的软件会显示真实大小，比如 RustDesk 不再显示成 67 GB，重复的条目只出现一次，Windows 更新和系统组件会被隐藏，Microsoft Store、应用安装程序和 Windows 安全中心也不能再被卸载。
5. 每个卸载程序只运行一次：Mole 只会启动一次软件自己的卸载程序，不再挨个尝试猜测的静默参数，以免卸载窗口反复弹出，卸载后软件还在时也会如实提示。
6. 优化不再重置网络：mo optimize 不再重置 Winsock，这一步会让 VPN 和虚拟网卡在重启前都连不上，也不再重建搜索索引以及图标、字体和商店缓存。
