2.101.25
Changed
- The processing mode select in the Add Feed dialog no longer shows a description under it.
2.101.24
Added
- The Add Feed dialog's Advanced options now include a processing mode select (standard, keep content only, skip ad detection, or pass-through). A feed that should be served untouched or only transcribed is set up that way before its first episodes are picked up. The API accepts the same
processingModeonPOST /feedsfor subscribed and YouTube feeds. Cue-only is still set from the feed's settings after creation because it needs cue templates.
2.101.23
Fixed
- Review links are now added to an episode's description as soon as MinusPod has the episode, including while it is still processing. Apps such as Pocket Casts store show notes the first time they see an episode and never refresh them, so links added only after processing never reached them.
2.101.22
Fixed
- Served feeds cached before this release are re-rendered on their next fetch, so the private-feed tag from 2.101.21 reaches every feed without a manual refresh.
2.101.21
Breaking
- Served feeds now carry
itunes:blockYes by default, so app directories skip them and Pocket Casts stops matching an added feed to the public show with the same title, author, website and artwork. A feed Pocket Casts already matched keeps that match until you remove it and add it again. The global Mark served feeds private setting turns the tag off.
2.101.20
Added
- Sub-path hosting: set
MINUSPOD_URL_PREFIX=/minuspodto serve the UI, API and feeds under a reverse-proxy path such ashttps://host/minuspod/. One image serves any prefix with no rebuild, and the app works whether the proxy forwards the prefix or strips it.BASE_URLmust include the prefix; startup warns when it does not. Left unset, nothing changes (#961). - Optional review links in episode descriptions. A global setting, with a per-feed override, adds "Review in MinusPod" and "Rate 5 stars" links to the served description of every processed episode. The second link opens the episode page and applies a 5-star rating on load, with an Undo button. It uses a normal page address rather than an API call, so apps and link previews that fetch show-notes URLs cannot rate anything. Off by default.
Changed
- The service worker is now registered by the app itself instead of the build plugin's generated helper, so its URL and scope follow the prefix. Update prompts and offline behavior are unchanged.
Fixed
- A crawler on the blocked user agent list now gets the original audio for any episode that is not yet published, including one that is still processing. Before, it received a 503 from the processing and failed branches.
