Added

  • Add feed searches YouTube by show name when YouTube feeds are on. Playlists and channels appear under the directory results, playlists marked as podcast shows rank higher with a Podcast badge, and choosing one opens the lookup card with its RSS directory matches. Works with or without a Data API key.
  • YouTube episodes can send ads to SponsorBlock by hand. SponsorBlock forbids automated submissions, so nothing is ever sent on its own. A setting and a private user ID enable a per-episode review where every segment starts unchecked and each outcome is recorded.
  • Settings > YouTube can generate a SponsorBlock private user ID for people without the browser extension. The stored ID is hidden by default with Show and Copy buttons, and cannot be regenerated while one is stored.
  • Episodes take a 1 to 5 star quality rating with notes below 5. Five stars confirms every cut ad segment without a recut. Feeds show the average, and the diagnostics download includes the ratings and notes for its range.
  • The transcript dialog's search can show one or three neighbouring segments around each match, jump to a match inside the full transcript, and step through matches with Previous and Next or Enter.
  • The YouTube watcher notices when the SponsorBlock API stops answering and checks it until it is back. While it is unreachable, YouTube episodes waiting on it are held with no downloads or attempts counted, SponsorBlock submissions are refused, and the status bar shows SponsorBlock as unreachable. Other feeds keep processing.

Changed

  • Docker build: A SECURITY_SRC=stub build argument skips the patched security package builds and uses stock Ubuntu packages, for faster local development builds. Published images keep the default.
  • Docker build: Patched security packages are built once per patch change by CI into the ttlequals0/minuspod-security-packages image (amd64 and arm64) and both app Dockerfiles copy them by pinned digest, so release and local builds no longer compile them. A weekly check opens an issue when a pinned package falls behind Ubuntu, and a monthly run rebuilds the image with fresh build dependencies and opens a pin PR.
