This is the first alpha release of version 2.0 which is also the first release in 2 years. A lot of things have changed since then (which I am going to mention in the final release), however, to give you a glimpse:
- I have rewritten the project in Kotlin.
- We are making heavy use of architecture components.
- The communication backend is now a separate project called uprotocol that will open up the capabilities of TrebleShot to other projects by other developers.
- Encryption support (a built-in uprotocol feature)
Give it a try!
Although there are some unimplemented features and bugs here and there, the backend should be stable, which means you can exchange files. In the meantime, I will close more issues as we approach a stable release, so feel free to report yours when you encounter one.
