As I mentioned in the v0.9.0 release, version 1.0.0 is mainly focused on bug fixes and quality-of-life improvements. The goal is to provide a stable release that you can rely on for the long term without needing to update frequently. I understand this may feel a bit underwhelming, especially given the 8-month gap since v0.9.0, and I appreciate your patience.
Meanwhile, lrclib.net has been handling an incredible load—up to 40,000 API calls per minute (over 600 calls per second). I’ve worked hard to optimize performance and reduce costs, including implementing necessary caching logic and migrating the server to an ARM-based instance. Even so, traffic surges can still affect stability.
