• Performance release - many small and large improvements across the board:
  • Fixed significant regression introduced in v0.33.3.
  • Reduce allocations in many places. Most relevant for large reads.
  • Introduce a read-performance benchmark.
  • Use small-vec and small-string optimizations in more places.
• Remove trailbase_sqlite::Connection::..*query_value[s] for deserializing rows into arbitrary serde types. This protects us from accidental overhead and lowers the requirements for onboard new DB backends. We're currently experimenting with stoolap.
• Paths in ATTACH DATABASE calls from WASM are now relative to <depot>/data rather than CWD. This is a breaking change if you use auxiliary DBs from WASM. You'll have to update your paths or move your DBs. Referencing DBs in parent paths is not possible.
• Update dependencies.
