What's fixed
- Preserve speech from the beginning while the STT connection is being established (#83).
- Replace the fixed 30-second interruption with provider-aware, configurable recording limits (#81).
- Prevent the Linux AppImage Wayland/NVIDIA ABI crash by using the host Wayland client library (#76).
Added
- Native Linux arm64 AppImage, DEB, and RPM builds (#85).
Cloud experience
- Short cloud recordings keep the existing WAV path, while longer recordings use bounded Opus uploads to reduce transfer and compute costs.
- Cloud warm-up remains non-blocking and tied to real usage, so ordinary recording latency is not intentionally increased.
Downloads and signing
- macOS artifacts are signed, notarized, and stapled.
- Linux artifacts include updater signatures, GPG signatures, and checksum manifests.
- Windows MSI and NSIS installers are available, but this release's Windows installers are not Authenticode-signed and may show a Microsoft SmartScreen warning. Tauri updater manifests remain signed.
