- Keep Fast controls in sync with the host's debug flag and Fast opt-in policy.
- Keep the Codex effort picker and status line synchronized with host settings, and preserve confirmed effort across workspace restores.
- Keep the previous effort selection when the host rejects a change.
Fast still requires BAT_DEBUG=1 and Fast enabled in settings on the host. Update both the desktop client and bat-server to receive the complete remote controls fix.
