Release branch sync & conflict resolution 🔀
We kept release in lockstep with main through a series of promotions, ensuring the latest accumulated work lands cleanly where production builds are cut.
One promotion also required a careful conflict resolution pass to preserve the already-cut release versions while still bringing forward the full set of changes from main. (#5203, #5242, #5256) — Thank you @M3gA-Mind!
Linux AppImage release unblock 🐧
Linux desktop release smoke tests are back on track: an AppImage startup failure on Ubuntu 23.10+ was addressed by adjusting the user namespace sysctl behavior used during the release job, unblocking production runs. (#5251) — Thank you @M3gA-Mind!
