github tinkerologie/ha-philips-airpurifier v2026.10.4

Added

  • Releases ship philips_airpurifier.zip (#180), so HACS and the Home Assistant Marketplace
show a download count. The zip is reproducible, has a SHA256SUMS file and a signed build
provenance attestation, and is published through a draft as an immutable release. PR CI
builds it twice and checks the bytes match. The README explains manual zip installation
    and verification.
  • Deprecation checks in CI (#181): tests fail on DeprecationWarnings raised from the
integration and on Home Assistant's deprecation log reports that name it, and
script/import_smoke.py imports every module in a clean interpreter.
  • Weekly HA Next workflow against the newest Home Assistant on PyPI (beta included) and
Core dev, keeping one ha-next issue per channel; a weekly HA Dev Blog watch opens one
ha-dev-blog issue per developer blog post that names code the integration uses.

Changed

  • Dashboard cards follow the Home Assistant 2026.10 design tokens (spacing, radius, typography,
semantic and state colours), with fallbacks for 2026.9, so they match user themes in light
and dark mode. Card accents follow the device state like the tile card (active, off,
unavailable), and the humidity card uses the humidifier state colour.
  • Card notices and errors are Home Assistant-style alerts; humidifier modes are a translated
segmented switch, and the target stepper uses 48px icon buttons.
  • Card accessibility: correct ARIA states for toggles and dialog openers, arrow-key navigation
in choice dialogs, visible focus rings, right-to-left support, and translated
Close/Cancel/Unknown labels. Masonry card sizes are more accurate, and the card editor
groups display options in a collapsible section.
  • script/hassfest supports Home Assistant 2026.11's packages/hassfest layout,
    HA_VERSION=<tag> and HA_VERSION=dev (with HA_CORE_REF=<commit>).

Fixed

  • The heater (climate) entity uses the native temperature API on Home Assistant 2026.11 and
later, so Home Assistant no longer logs that PhilipsHeater provides the deprecated
    _attr_temperature_unit and target_temperature (#179, #181). Earlier releases keep the
    old members.
  • The heater reports its current temperature: it now reads the Gen3 D03224 field (tenths
of a degree) that CX3120 and CX5120 heaters send, instead of a temp field they never
report, and follows device updates instead of keeping the value read at startup.
  • The Home Assistant 2026.9 minimum CI job runs again: Dependabot had raised the pinned
floor in requirements_test_min.txt to 2026.10.4, and no longer edits that file.
