Arrow keys in the sidebar tree: Up and Down move between notes and folders, Right opens a folder then steps into it, Left closes it then goes up to its parent. Del and Ctrl+C / X / V act on the row you reached. #1443

One sort mode for the whole tree: a button in the sidebar title row cycles through Name, Date modified, Date created, Type (new, groups notes by kind) and Custom, for folders and notes at every level. Dragging an item to a new position switches to Custom, and your manual order is kept when you try another mode and come back. This replaces the per-folder "Sort by" submenu and the "Note sorting" card in Settings. #1442

Feedback when moving notes and folders: the destination folder opens, along with its parents, and what you moved stays selected, whether you drag, cut and paste or use the move dialogs. #1441
Quote submenu: each callout type now shows its icon in its own colour, so the row previews the block it inserts. The Important callout is also readable in dark mode now. #1444

Cut items show scissors: a cut note or folder swaps its icon for scissors, so a cut no longer looks like a copy. #1412

Selected folders: a selected folder is highlighted as one block with everything it holds, since that is what Del or a drag takes with it.

Tree and note shortcuts colliding: Ctrl+Z, Ctrl+C / X / V and Del now only answer in the pane you are working in, the tree or the note. The keyboard shortcuts window says which pane each group belongs to. #1440
Excalidraw previews ignoring theme changes: a diagram embedded in a note kept the background of the theme it was drawn under. Previews are now theme-neutral and repaint as soon as you switch theme, in the app, in the journal and on shared pages. Existing diagrams switch over the next time you save them. #1445
Selection colour: text selection now uses one colour in every theme, in read and in edit mode, and Firefox no longer paints a Markdown selection in two colours. #1424
Markdown headings lost after pressing Enter: a new line copied the indentation of the previous one, so a heading typed on it stopped rendering as a heading. Headings indented by up to three spaces are now recognised too, as in other Markdown editors. #1422
Leftover lines after deleting an Excalidraw diagram: the empty "Write outside the diagram here…" lines around a deleted diagram are removed with it.
