Poznote 6.89.0-beta
This beta channel release improves the multi-account flow, adds more editor tools, and brings the slash menu and theme handling closer to the expected UX.
✨ New
- Other accounts and workspace switching: you can now move between accounts more cleanly, with account-aware state and folder handling that keeps the right workspace context visible while switching.
- Configurable web server listen port: the server can now be bound to a custom port, which helps self-hosting setups that need a different local network or container configuration.
- Mermaid support in the slash menu: diagrams are now easier to insert directly from the editor flow, with the new command and related UI customization. #1404
- New editor actions and shortcuts: the slash menu now handles selection-based commands, typed filtering, text highlight actions, and a more complete set of quick editing tools. #1411 #1410 #1414
🚀 Improved
-
Tab and note behavior: closing tabs is now smoother, the last tab close flow is cleaned up, and the content pane resets more predictably when you end a session.
-
Position retention: switching between edit and read mode keeps the current position more reliably, avoiding frustrating jumps while reading or editing. #1409
-
Rename synchronization: note titles now stay aligned when renamed from different UI flows.
-
Dark theme readability: text visibility on dark surfaces has been improved across named themes, making the UI easier to read in low-light setups. #1405
-
Editor color tools: the editor now supports a richer text and highlight palette, making it easier to keep visual emphasis consistent.
🐛 Fixed
-
Last note close: a regression could prevent the final open note from closing cleanly. This is now fixed. #1413
-
Menu text color and theme consistency: the slash menu and related UI elements now follow the intended theme colors more reliably. #1405 #1408
-
Sticky header stacking: z-index issues behind sticky headers have been adjusted to reduce visual overlap in complex layouts.
-
Preview/editing consistency: improvements were made to keep the markdown preview and editor interaction smoother, especially around selection and formatting actions.
