• Icon colors: right-click a button in the left icon sidebar or in the note toolbar (including the entries of its ⋮ menu) to give its icon a color of your choice. Colors are saved to your account, and the favorite, shared and attachment icons still change color to show their state.

• Icon sidebar order: in Settings > Display, click an icon in the list to change its color and save it along with the order.

• Diary menu: on desktop, right-click a diary pill to rename or delete the diary. #1367

• Diary pills: the pill now shows even when the workspace has only one diary. #1367
• Today button: it now reads "Create today's entry" or "Go to today's entry", depending on whether today's entry already exists. #1367
• Journal on phones: swipe right to left to open the Dates panel and left to right to close it, like the note outline. #1367

🧪 Beta images

Two floating Docker tags are available, pick the one that matches how you want to update:

• latest (or 6, the default in docker-compose.yml): stable releases only, betas are never pulled.
• latest-and-beta: always the newest image published, whether it is a beta or a stable release.

To join the beta channel, replace the tag of both images in your docker-compose.yml (ghcr.io/timothepoznanski/poznote:latest-and-beta and ghcr.io/timothepoznanski/poznote-mcp:latest-and-beta, or the -rootless variants), then update as usual. Put the tag back to 6 to return to stable only, on the next stable release. Beta testers already using latest-beta should switch to latest-and-beta, which replaces it.
