Safety snapshots before AI and MCP edits
When the AI assistant or the MCP server rewrites a note, its previous version is kept as a snapshot first (#1308). They show up in the note history as "Before AI edit" / "Before MCP edit", at most 20 per note, and your own manual snapshots are never capped.
You can also take a snapshot by hand with Ctrl+Alt+S (Cmd+Alt+S on Mac), no confirmation needed.
Customize the interface with a live preview
A new stack at the bottom-right of the notes page and the dashboard: the AI assistant toggle (moved out of the icon rail) and a button that opens a panel listing only the hideable elements of the current page. Each checkbox applies immediately and is saved automatically. Elements enforced by the administrator show as locked. Suggested in #1298.
Vector favicon and brand SVGs
The favicon is now an SVG (Safari keeps the .ico fallback), the welcome modal uses the themed logo mask, and images/ gains white and black SVG variants of the logo for third-party use (#1336).

- The "Highlight current folder tree" dimming is lighter, so the rest of the tree still reads as normal text.
- The note width toggle is hidden in markdown split view, where it has no effect.
- AI button moved to the bottom right of the note. 🤖
🐛 Fixed
- A few scripts and stylesheets were served without a cache-busting version, so browsers could keep an outdated copy after an update (login page, PWA script, API docs, drag-and-drop library) (#1345).
