Poznote 6.59.0

This update makes the first-run experience smoother and improves everyday navigation with browser-aware language handling, favorite folders, and a more useful graph and trash interface. It also add a new webhook for language changes.

🏋️ Improvements

🚀 Onboarding:

  • New accounts now follow the browser's preferred supported language at login.
  • A first-run setup wizard helps configure the language, theme, date and time format, and timezone.

🌍 Language and administration:

  • An explicit language choice is remembered and is no longer overridden by the browser at future logins.
  • GET /api/v1/users/me now returns the user's language.
  • PUT /api/v1/settings/language validates supported language codes.
  • The Users page has a more usable horizontally scrollable layout on mobile.

📂 Folders and notes:

  • Folders can now be added to or removed from Favorites.

📈 Graph and navigation:

  • The graph view can now be filtered by folder.
  • Graph statistics and link visibility update correctly when filters are applied.
  • Board view controls now use a single toggle for grid sizes and list view.
  • Drag-and-drop and navigation interactions have been refined.

🗑️ Trash:

  • The trash page now shows the total number of matching notes.
  • Long note previews can be expanded and collapsed.
  • Restore and permanent-delete actions now have clearer, touch-friendly buttons.
  • The empty state and dark-mode presentation have been refreshed.

📢 Webhooks:

  • Added the settings.language_changed user event.
  • The event includes the new language, the previous language, and whether the change came from the UI or the REST API.

🐛 Fixes

  • Outline navigation now keeps the selected heading correctly positioned after lazy-loaded content changes the page height.
  • The outline scroll animation stops cleanly when the user starts interacting with the page.
