New features
Webhooks for instance events
Administrators can now register webhooks from the admin panel to get notified when something happens on the instance. Supported events are user creation, update, activation, deactivation and deletion, plus a notification when the signup cap is reached. Each webhook can be enabled, disabled or deleted at any time, and every delivery is signed with HMAC-SHA256 so the receiving endpoint can verify that the payload really comes from your Poznote instance. Delivery failures are logged to make troubleshooting easy.
Keyboard shortcuts for notes
Two new shortcuts speed up your daily note taking: press Ctrl+S (Cmd+S on macOS) to save the current note immediately, and Alt+ArrowUp / Alt+ArrowDown to jump to the previous or next note in the current folder. Both shortcuts can be enabled or disabled individually in the settings. Modals can now also be closed with the Escape key. Thanks to @pythoninja for suggesting these improvements in #1196!
Improvements and fixes
- On small screens, the top info bar can now be scrolled horizontally, so all its items stay reachable instead of being cut off.
- Added help when hovering settings cards.
