Poznote 6.140.0

Users can now back up and restore their own account from the server's local backup folder, and the Local Backups page has been reorganised.

✨ New

  • Local backups for users: an administrator can let users back up their own account to the server's backup folder, then download their archives. It shows on the Backup / Export page, before S3 Backups.

  • Restore from a local backup: a new section on the Restore / Import page lets users restore their account from one of their archives, if the administrator allows it.

  • Plain code block in Markdown notes: the slash menu has a new "Plain block" entry under Code, the same as in HTML notes. It adds a code block with no language and no label.

🚀 Improved

  • Local Backups page: it now has separate sections for configuration, automatic backups, manual backup and access for users. Manual backup has its own user list, with nobody checked by default, and it no longer changes the automatic backup settings.
  • Access for users: three new admin switches, all off by default, let users back up their account, delete their archives and restore their account.
image

  • Archive actions: each archive has a "…" menu with Download, Restore and Delete. An administrator can restore any archive into the account it belongs to.

  • Code blocks without word wrap: when "Code block word wrap" is off, each code block in live preview and rich text now scrolls horizontally on its own, like in the preview.

🐛 Fixed

  • Images in imported notes: after a ZIP import, images inserted in a note no longer disappear from its attachments when the note is first saved.
  • New note during a search: a Markdown note created during a search now opens in your usual new note view instead of the preview.
