The AI assistant gets external tools, custom instructions, custom headers and a conversation history.

✨ New

• External tools (MCP servers): the assistant can call the tools of remote MCP servers, a web search for instance. An administrator turns it on in Settings > Admin Tools > AI Assistant, and can let users connect their own servers. A globe button in the chat turns the tools on and off. #1611

• Custom instructions: give the assistant standing preferences (tone, language, format of the notes it writes) in Settings > My AI Assistant. They are sent with every message. #1613

• Custom headers: add your own request headers for Ollama, LM Studio and custom URLs, useful behind a gateway such as LiteLLM or OpenRouter. #1610

• Conversation history: conversations are now kept on the server. The plus button starts a new one and the history button lists the last ten of the workspace, on any browser or device.

• Assistant tools: untick the tools the assistant may use on your notes in Settings > My AI Assistant, for example everything that changes them.

• MCP server: new list_shared_with_me tool, which lists the notes and folders other users shared with you. Thanks @grep-ankh! #1616

• AI chat: a Copy button under each message.
• Settings on narrow screens: the Admin groups fold under their title, like the personal sections.

🐛 Fixed

• [[Paris]] opened Weekend in Paris instead of Paris. A link now resolves to the note with exactly that title. #1614

• AI settings: the list of models held only the saved one until Check access and list models was clicked again. It now loads when the page opens. #1612

• The "What's new" popup no longer closes on a click outside it.
