🚀 Improved
- The line under the note title now shows the modification date and the word count only. The creation date and the character and line counts can be turned back on in Element visibility (#1577).
- "Insert rich text" and "Insert Markdown" moved from the note's ⋮ menu to the Insert section of the "/" menu (#1577).
- In a rich-text note, the "/" menu marks the formats already applied where it opens: heading level, bold, italic, alignment, list type (#1580).
- The Title button of the toolbar is lit when the caret is in a heading.
- The "Write outside the diagram" hint around an Excalidraw diagram is gone. The empty lines above and below it are still there to type in.
🐛 Fixed
Excalidraw
- A diagram copied and pasted into a note stays a diagram that can be edited and aligned, instead of a plain picture (#1576).
- A copy pasted into the same note no longer opens, and saves over, the original.
- Converting a rich-text note to Markdown keeps its diagrams editable.
- AI assistant: editing a note that holds a diagram no longer turns it into a plain image (#1579).
- Align had no effect on a diagram.
Rich-text editor (#1580)
- Ctrl+Z stopped working after an insertion from the "/" menu. Headings, lists, checklists, bold and other formats, quotes, callouts, toggles, code blocks, dates and links can now be undone and redone.
- A heading inserted from the "/" menu left an empty line next to it.
- A list created in a note written by the API, the AI assistant or a paste left empty paragraphs around it after a reload.
- Align had no effect on a picture pasted with its own placement.
- Paste from the right-click menu lost the pictures copied from a note in Chrome, and pasted plain text in Firefox.
- Firefox: a click under the note, or on the empty line next to a diagram, could put the caret in the wrong place.
