github timmo001/system-bridge 5.21.0

one hour ago

Adds a System Bridge dashboard for Home Assistant, laid out like the web client, which you can install from the Marketplace. Development builds now check the dev branch for updates rather than releases.

Home Assistant Dashboard (Marketplace)

  • Add a dashboard that builds itself from each System Bridge device's entities, with a page per area such as CPU, Memory, Storage, Network and Battery, and leaves out pages with no entities. See dashboard.
  • Add its sections to the section picker, so you can add a CPU, storage or battery section to any dashboard, with options for the device, items and history in the editor.
  • Choose the pages, which show an icon and title, and which link from the top, in the dashboard's options.
  • Show the battery state, AC power and the batteries of connected devices, such as a wireless mouse, from Home Assistant 2026.11.
  • Attach system-bridge-dashboard.js to each release, and add hacs.json so the Marketplace can install it. It needs Home Assistant 2026.10 or later.

Updates

  • Check development builds, such as system-bridge-git, against the latest commit on dev, and link version_latest_url to the commits since the build.

Docs

  • Document installing the dashboard from the Marketplace or by hand, its options and its sections.

Maintenance

  • Build, lint and test the dashboard in CI, and validate it for the Marketplace.
  • Track Home Assistant frontend releases in the tooling drift workflow, and update tooling-drift to 0.1.6.
  • Add a pre-push hook that runs golangci-lint and checks the generated schemas.
  • Stamp local builds with their commit, so they track dev too.
  • Update timmo001/workflows to 20261027.0, and the shared skills.
